Still thinking about change!

The house has undergone changes, the nursery has been a work in progress, but the biggest change I've experienced over the last several months has been with my growing body!

It all started out with this lovely little pee stick!
Fluffy and I broke the news to Josh by placing the pee stick into a baby bottle wrapped in a note from Fluffy that said "I'm going to be a big sister!" Fluffy delivered the bottle to Josh perfectly!
My first photo of my growing bloated belly. I was probably 15 weeks or so. Took this photo on a trip to Rocky Point. Josh and I lament it may be the last vacation we'll take for some time!!!
Our second view of our little athlete. I think we were 18 weeks... This was our opportunity to learn the gender and we politely declined. We haven't had an ultrasound since. Think we'll recognize Baby Maule when he or she arrives?
26 weeks and growing bigger by the day!
At 36 weeks getting ready for our home visit from the midwives. We were thrilled this day because this marks the safety zone both for the likely hood of a healthy baby upon delivery but it also is a key benchmark for our planned home birth.

I've completed my 38th week of pregnancy and am still growing! How big can this belly get? I guess time will tell!!!

So much change!

In addition to trying to keep up some type of fitness routine, working, and growing a baby Josh and I have also been completing a pretty major remodel. Here are a few photos of our progress.
Our hallway bath mid project.
How the hall bath looks now.
Lots of work to be done.
Getting closer...
Loving the color orange!
There's still more work to be done but at least we are living in and using the entire house. Just in time for baby! We had a ton of help from friends and family. Josh has worked his tail off to get as much of our projects done before baby arrives but we couldn't have done it without our fabulous friends and family. Thank you!!!

More change...

Our nursery has been a fun work in progress! I bought the big furniture pieces last fall but insisted they stay in the garage until we were into our 2nd trimester. Since we decided we would not learn the baby's gender until delivery I started working with some fun colors inspired by my floral rug from Pier 1.
My mom and I sewed these owl critters inspired from a Pintrest post.
The owl theme was too much fun so it has continued! My friends and family got on board and Baby Maule and I received many cute, fun, thoughtful, colorful, owl items.
And of course my favorite color, ORANGE! Can you believe I found these fabulous chairs for only $30 bucks? And again my mom put her sewing skills to use and made the roman shades. She did a great job! We're expecting Baby Maule's arrival soon and we have just a few finishing touches to put on the nursery but all the basics are in place! It has been such a fun and exciting time and again I have so many people that I am grateful for. I have been completely overwhelmed by the thoughtfulness and generosity of all of the love, support, and gifts that we have received.
